Close the route when the ride is finished

Mark the itinerary complete when you want to preserve that plan as the record of the day. Strada does not record a GPS track; it stores the itinerary you mark as done instead of leaving it as another changing draft.

You can still update completion notes, rating, and memories afterward. Keep route edits for a duplicated draft so the historical ride remains understandable.

Write notes for your future self

Record details that change a planning decision: a road that was better in one direction, a fuel stop with limited hours, a section that took longer than expected, or a pass that needs a seasonal check.

Avoid writing a complete diary unless that is useful to you. A short note tied to a decision is easier to scan before the next departure.

• Road sections worth repeating or avoiding.
• Stops that worked and stops that did not.
• Timing, fuel, weather, or seasonal details.
• A specific change to make in the next draft.

Attach memories to the right place

Add a memory to the whole ride when it represents the day, or attach it to a specific stop when location matters. Captions can preserve context that the image alone will not carry months later.

Strada manages route-level and stop-level memories inside the completed ride. It does not turn those photos into a public community feed.

Create a route poster when you want to share

A route poster combines a map snapshot, route metrics, and selected memories into an image you can save or share. Choose a map, memory, collage, or minimal treatment according to what matters about the ride.

The poster is an exported image, not live tracking. Review it before sharing if route locations or personal photos are sensitive.

Turn a good ride into the next draft

Duplicate a completed ride when you want to repeat or refine it. The duplicate returns the route to an editable draft while the original remains in the completed log.

Use the rating and notes to decide what to keep. Reorder a stop, split a long leg, or add the place you missed. The value of the log appears when it changes the next plan.
