What it does

No profile to feed
Strada does not need an account to plan rides. Your routes are app data, not a public profile or advertising audience.
Telemetry waits for consent
Analytics and crash reporting are wired behind an opt-in setting. Remote Config is separate and is used for app messages, legal links, and update information.
Location has a job
Location supports map centering and viewport searches, from-here route actions, watch smart start, and nearby-stop alerts during an active ride. The nearby alert system depends on permissions and system location delivery.
